FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
We receive many questions about our tennis camp. Here are some frequently asked questions regarding the details of our camp.
How many kids per camp?
We receive many registration forms each year for our camps. However, we like to keep classes small to ensure the students receive quality and intentional instruction. Therefore, our camps hold a maximum of 50 students.
How many kids are with each camp counselor?
Since we like to keep the class sizes small for optimal instruction, the ratio is 12 students to 1 counselor.
Are the camps tiered by level?
We offer our tennis camp’s two main sections: junior tennis and teen tennis. In the junior division, instructors focus on tennis introduction, basic techniques, and foundational principles. The teen division focuses more on strokes, conditioning, and match play.
What does my child need to bring for camp?
Whether your child will attend half-days or full-days of camp, we recommend you pack lightly to avoid dealing with too many items. We recommend that your child brings a few essential items every day. Essential items include a swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, water bottle, packed lunch, and snacks/fruit. If you’d like to visit our on-site snack shack, please send additional money with your child.
Do you offer different pricing and payment options?
What If I Need to Cancel My Registration?
Adam Maskill Tennis Camp wants to provide enjoyable and quality instruction to all students. However, we do have a 24-hour cancellation policy to ensure each student receives the instruction they need. Cancellations placed within 24 hours or less will be charged a 10% cancellation fee.
How Far In Advance Can I Register?
You can register your child as early as your schedule allows, or as late as the night before camp begins. Please complete payment and registration before class begins. Children will be admitted to camp upon receipt of registration and payment.
Drop-ins: If our classes are not full, we will also accept drop-ins. Registration and payments may take place at the door. For your convenience, you can pay with your mobile phone using a unique QR code.
Does my child need a certain swimming level to swim in the pool while at camp?
Before your child may swim in the Charlotte Swim & Racquet Club pool, they are required to pass a brief swim test, as part of club policy.
Do I have to register online?
Yes, before your child may join the camp, your child must be registered online. Please fill out the registration form and pay online.
